VIRGINIA AYERS-DAWSON & FRIENDS - International Jazz Vocalist
Virginia Ayers-Dawson an international performer and published songwriter. Feeling totally at home on stage, her performances are “an infusion of love and joyful abandon wrapped up in jazzy delight”. She interprets the lyrics of each song with transparent passion and draws everyone into the journey. To see and hear her is to experience the sheer joy of music. A unique connection exists between Virginia and her audience. With elegance and grace, through song, she makes everyone feel special. Her repertoire includes jazz, classic standards and original compositions.

The Davis Children’s Chorale, organized in 1995, preforms in festivals, concerts and private functions nationally and internationally. They were invited to join the honor choir in Washington, DC in the Festival of Gold Competition because of their excellent tonal quality. These delightful children will trill you and charm you with their angelic voices.

Folsom Lake College Youth Chamber Orchestra, surprises and excites audiences as one of the most captivating young artists ensembles in the greater Sacramento area. These young people, ranging from 12-18, gained recognition quickly for their expressive and imaginative performances. Their challenging repertoire includes Baroque, Contemporary, Classical and Jazz. This ensemble, created with highly selected soloists, is rate in the music community, where each young musician has a chance to be spotlighted and express his/her artistic abilities.

K.A. SVISTOONOFF & MARLYNN SMITH - International Pianist
Since her professional debut performing the “Rhapsody in Blue” at the age of thirteen, the award-winning pianist, Katherine A. Svistoonoff, has been sought after throughout Europe, Australia, and the Americas to perform as recitalist, concerto soloist, and chamber musician. Critics the world over praise Katherine in performance, saying that she “reveal[s] a big round tone free of any unpleasant percussiveness, an impressive color palette, ranging from a lustrous white at the treble to a velvety depth in the bass and a digital dexterity that made her performance … seem effortless.”

Marlynn Smith, internationally known versatile vocalist. At her command are Opera, Broadway, Spiritual and Gospel. With her beauty, grace and a voice like a bell she will transport you to another world.

GAYIEL VON & JIM JORDAN - Queen of Cabaret!
Gayiel Von, Sacramento’s own renaissance women, singing for more than 40 years nationally with such notables as Nancy Wilson. Barbra Streisand, Ben Vereen and many more. As the reigning queen of cabaret, Gayiel will excite you with her dynamic and poignant interpretations of such notable composers as Gershwin, Cole Porter, Jerome Kern, etc. Her delivery of songs from our favorite Broadway shows will transport you back to that moment you first sat in your seat anticipating a great performance. Gayiel will bring you that moment and then follow through with that great performance. For the last 14 years she has been performing with Jim Jordan as her accompanist.

Jim Jordan, began playing piano and organ at the age of 4, starting his professional career at 18, playing for theatre productions, recording sessions and live events all over our nation. Jim has performed with some of the greatest Gospel musicians such as Della Reese and many others. He will also amaze you with an astounding range and vocal ability, which only enriches this duo’s gift to any audience.
